Just had to drop by and pick up a Father&#8217;s Day gift for my golf addicted Dad who I&#8217;m sure will be glued to the TV next weekend.  While I&#8217;ll be holding homes open in Pacific Grove wondering if any of these golf fans would like to own a little piece of golf heaven.

It exists in the shadows of its more famous neighbors, Carmel and Pebble Beach.  You don&#8217;t see much <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoe_tossing#Shoes_hung_from_overhead_wires_.28.22shoefiti.22.29">Shoefiti</a> around here.  Yesterday, my broker took this photo of her new listing.  There are many theories on the motivation for &#8220;shoefiti.&#8221;  There is an elementary and middle school nearby, my conclusion is some student needs a new pair of shoes.</p>

A good friend who has lived through the AT&#038;T experience for many years notes that the build up seems more subdued this year.  Could the economy be affecting this <a href="http://www.attpbgolf.com/">premier event</a>. One notable absence is the promotional cars.  Usually there are fleets of Buicks or Chryslers or whatever the sponsor cruising around.  I guess the car companies have cutback.</p>

The house is an original Craftsman with claw foot bath tubs and will probably be scraped by the new owner.<br />

Lobos.   There&#8217;s an old wood deck down at the water&#8217;s edge. You can see all the hospitality tents and viewing stands at the 18th hole.<br />
