Green on 7, Spyglass
The banks of audience seating are set up, the yards and yards of white plastic canvas are assembled into huge tents, miles of fencing and nylon rope are strung along the roads and the day is here.
I was cruising back from the barn this afternoon and caught these players finishing up on the
7th hole at Spyglass.
A good friend who has lived through the AT&T experience for many years notes that the build up seems more subdued this year. Could the economy be affecting this
premier event. One notable absence is the promotional cars. Usually there are fleets of Buicks or Chryslers or whatever the sponsor cruising around. I guess the car companies have cutback.
