Trulia and REALTOR.com give good search

Posted by Christine Monteith On July - 20 - 2008

Trulia.com and Realtor.com come out on top in this review from the LA Times of home search websites. Good to know that the money spent for REALTOR.com is worthwhile. My company pays for enhanced listing service: multiple photos, expanded description, video links.

I’ve been looking to expand my presence at Trulia. My older listings have been posted to Trulia through Postlets.com and my newer listings through The Real Estate Book but I don’t get any direct branding. The monthly fee for “Real Estate Pro” at Trulia is pretty hefty. I know a couple of REALTORs in my area that have signed up. I’ll ask them about their level of return on this investment.

I have never heard of that Postlets – thanks for the link! I also wanted to pass on a link that I refer people to called PropertyMaps. I like this actually more then Trulia, because it has a great google maps/mls tool. Hope it helps!
